Heiner is a diagonal or lateral thinker (Quergeist) trained as technician, engineer (geodetics) with studies ranging from geophysics, to economy and philosophy and professional focus on managent and marketing, coordination/communication, computer graphics and cisualisation and multi-lingual/cultural knowledge organisation.

His focus is on Culture-Cyberculture, environment, education, technopolical and societal/international policy and media / sign-theory / general systems& model theory and pragmatics&ethics.
