Action Projet 01: Building and training a network promoting a socioeconomic network in South America
Issue
There is a lack of social activists and social entrepreneurs who know how to build socioeconomic communities using social money
? and
complementary currencies. These communities are also lacking Internet literacy and
Collective Intelligence.
Objectives
Train 1500 training agents in charge of promoting and launching local and regional solidarity
socioeconomies. Build a transnational network that uses
collective intelligence technologies and methodologies to augment their self-sustainability, their self-awareness and maximize their cross-fertilization capabilities.
Methodology
Build different modules:
- Activate local human resource in a new approach to richness. (LRA Module – Local Resource Approach)
- Develop alternative financing adapted to local contexts (ASF Module - Alternative Financing Systems)
- Articulate each initiative to money-less markets actions, such as barter networks (CES Module - Compensated Exchange Systems)
- Develop co-management processes with the State, the Third Sector and micro, small and medium enterprises (APM Module - Associated and Participative Management)
Milestones
- Phase 1 - Q1-Q2 2004: seed funding, core team building, making of training modules
- Phase 2 - 2004: 300 trainings
- Phase 3 – 2005: 600 trainings
- Phase 4 – 2006: 600 trainings

- Initial budget is estimated $120k
- Further budget will depend on further investigations and partnershiping
Funding
- Seed funding is being negociated with the FPH (Foundation for Human Progress)
- Sponsorship funding will be later explored with other private foundations
